Sunday School Revisited: Esther

Esther finds herself in a position of power and danger she never sought—queen of a pagan empire, with her people's survival hanging on whether she'll risk everything to speak up. As adults, we wrestle with Mordecai's challenge, 'who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this,' and ask what it means to see our own jobs, seasons, and circumstances as placements with purpose rather than accidents.
